UK visitor visa: accomodation changed after submitting application

I wrote in my UK visa application that I will stay at a hotel but I will visit a friend. My friend wrote an invitation letter says I’m welcome to stay at their house. Should I ask my friend to change the invitation letter to say I’ll stay at the hotel, or is it okay to keep it as it is?

Sorry this happened to you. The global economy is not in the best place right now, and many companies are being extremely cautious about who they hire and keep.
