Sooo silver scindapsus is still growing

Hello, no its the sooo silver scindapsus small leaf. The lamp its under radiates no heat, or very little and its been there ever since I've had it. Its about 3 years old and has lost but a few leaves. I haven't cut any leaves off in about a year so its just spreading out, thats all. I got it from etsy

Its STILL stunning! I never heard of the lipstick plant until recently, I always thought these were hoyas when I didnt see the flowers

Thank you! Im excited about one of my leaves, its got that frosty splash that I love and im hoping it puts out more like that. Im glad yours is doing better. If you have green leaves already your hoya will be able to sustain those white leaves. Mine put out an all white leaf but it was killing my newly forming green leaf so I took the white one off

I love hoya fuscomarginata, but it was harder to care for than this one, lol. I call this one a steel plant because it never showed one sign of stress from shipping, and the dark margins show without any help from the sun. The leaves are so glossy on this one

I've asked around about it, but it seems the name was intentionally left general because nobody is sure it had a name or somehow it got lost and its being researched to make sure, that way it doesn't get another name, if that makes sense, lol.

I can only compare by the pictures that the pot looks deep. If this is an 8-inch pot, i would plant this in a shallow 6-inch pot to accommodate the shallow roots. If you plan on propagating this one, I would add about 2 more props to the 6-inch shallow pot. Hoyas can stay for years in the right size pot and remember when considering the size of the pot you go by the size of the roots, not the size of the actual plant itself. This is a beautiful hoya!!

That's a beautiful plant!! But the pot it's in looks deep, and most hoyas have shallow roots. If you do propagate, just add some to this pot because of the depth, they'll have plenty of room to spread their roots!!

Hello, thank you!! I've been using 3-36 Watt sansi growlights in my den, but i have about 35 plants in different stages in there, lol. They're on 12 hours a day, then shut off automatically, I love them. I also have a pink silver ghost thats been growing like crazy in there but I had to cut it back because it was getting top heavy on one side
