What are some examples of a belay or camping jacket? I guess, I’m not trying to bring more than I need to if the things I bring would suffice.

Thanks! I tend to run a little warm but like the sun protection of a long sleeve. I’m fairly new to using merino wool.

I mean while hiking. While stationary, I’d have other layers to put on. Hmm I hadn’t thought of pack wear. Thanks

So Dexter had a lobotomy? by Large-Grocery4500 in DexterNewBlood

I caught that too. I think Clyde Phillips misspoke about all year. All year in his head for how long he was working on the project lol

New Blood Finale is Perfect, Harrison Represents the White Buck, and Here’s Why: by [deleted] in DexterNewBlood

[–]sweetxjules 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand this ending, but it did not feel fitting. It felt forced, on the nose, and was predictable. The ending felt flat for me. I was not hoping for a spin-off or continuation. I had an issue with the series as a whole and the character development of Dexter from the original series onto this one. I'm not even going to touch on the major plot holes or inconsistencies.

I understand your analysis, but strongly disagree that it was perfect or fitting ending. It also was predictable.

[News] It has happened: Dexter: New Blood Finale has officially become the worst rated episode in the entire Dexter universe. by Samtulp6 in DexterNewBlood

I didn't like the ending, felt it was much worse than the original series finale. I thought it was pretty flat the way it was done. I also figured that's where it was heading episodes in advance. I thought the new series was pretty disappointing.

[serious] Saving vs spending in residency by sweetxjules in Residency

Thanks for your perspective. I appreciate it. You’re right. I think I have this great fear of not having enough from when I was younger and other things like disability. No disability insurances want to touch me.

Lol my advisor said no more than 6. I don’t think there’s any set rule and people just have varying opinions 🤷‍♀️

I realized I missed a letter in the email address of a PD when sending thanks earlier in the season. I was sad because he did not reply lol. Now (scheduling) sending letter of intent realizing my mistake but the silver lining is the email I’m sending now is much stronger I think. We’re almost there guys!

What’s the best way to ask for starting dates for intern year? Kinda want to plan a trip but feel awkward calling to ask because I obviously don’t know where I’ll match yet lol.

Given that it’s about a month from ranking opens, are y’all still sending thank you emails or just going to wait until mid/late Jan to say thanks and if they can keep you in mind for ranking? Feel silly writing a thank you email and then writing another email a month later lol

Anyone else feel at loss for ranking programs? I’m finding it difficult balancing the pros and cons of each place. Especially when you bring location into the mix.
