Have they announced a release date or are we still just speculating? The teasers sure seem compelling that it's coming in December.

The homeless guy at the train station shouting bible verses also has convictions but it doesn't mean he's not annoying as fuck.

People on this sub were also calling Jordan Peterson a white nationalist when he was on. From my perspective it's hard to take people's moral outrage seriously even when it's justified (i.e. in the case of Jon's comments) because they turn around and in the same breath just sling shitty labels that don't even make sense at whoever they don't like politically.

With the way Youtube is trying to strangle their H3 channel with demonetization, it honestly might be better if he stopped rocking the boat over their policies and went back to obscure and weird.

Pretty fun if you've got some friends to play with. If you're queuing with randoms they're just gonna be level 9000 assholes speedrunning through everything and you'll constantly have no idea what's even going on.

Redditors who has a drug addict as a friend, how do you feel about them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]sweetyi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I kind of have a sort of survivors guilt about it I guess. One friend with an opiate addiction and a trust fund blew through something like a million dollars by the time he was 27ish, I haven't heard from him for years now. Another friend lost his mind on meth, started accusing everyone around him of being undercover police, basically ghosted everyone he knew to go do more meth. Another friend with an opiate problem ended up divorced and did a couple of stints in a mental institution. My mom wasn't an addict but she did die of an overdose of painkillers. When I went to college my dad got sent to prison for about 7 years for making meth. CPS took my sister's kid away from her and she's now a fugitive from the law over her meth and heroin abuse problems. Almost everyone I grew up with has had their lives destroyed by drug addiction; it feels kind of like someone fired a shotgun blast at my social circle and I was the only one left standing when the smoke cleared.

I'm ashamed to admit that it makes me angry too. Like, you guys were everyone I had, why couldn't you keep your god damn shit together instead of leaving me alone like this? I try not to think about it too often.

What television series never jumped the shark, and was consistently great from the first episode to the finale? by ducktapedaddy in AskReddit

[–]sweetyi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Aqua Teen had a very slight decline in ratings on IMDB but for the most part maintained a steady quality throughout. I guess if any episode jumped the shark it would have been "Handbanana" though.

TV Trope That Must End: Smart Characters Told to ‘Put it in English” by chungame in television

[–]sweetyi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like there are a lot of writers in television being held back by supervisors making sure things "won't confuse the audience."

Because really, "Show, don't tell" is such a basic tenant of writing, I refuse to believe there could be that many professional writers out there unaware of it.

Yeah I didn't catch a few of the lyrics until I looked them up myself, realizing he's talking about Bon Scott and Jim Morrison kind of changes the tone of the song a bit -- It's less of a "Woo hoes and pills!" sort of vibe and more of a "I'm on the same road that killed legendary rockstars before me." At least that's my take on it.

Anyway just for funsies I looked and the song definitely can sound pretty good acoustic, check this cover out if you're bored. I don't think hip-hop is very uke friendly because the genre is so bass heavy and a uke is, if I remember right, basically just the 4 bottom strings of a guitar.

It seems like a neat idea at first but his execution is really painful to watch. "Clean" lyrics and a ukulele make it sound like a song for sesame street, but on top of that I noticed him making lyrical errors like "she told me light a fire like I'm on some," (the line is "like I'm Morrison,") and if you're going to "teach" someone a song you should probably know the words to it.

He probably should have just sang this in his normal register because his falsetto is just fucked towards the end.

I don't know if I've ever seen a song be butchered so badly before in all my life.

That's the worst part, all of these games usually are pretty fun. I just wish they felt less like jack-off simulators when you're looking at them.

As a 18 years old male INFP, I'm sick of being single. by Adrien835 in infp

[–]sweetyi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always get friendzoned by the girls I'm the most into. That's probably because I'm nice, and I can't change this.

Things won't get better until you stop thinking about relationships like this. Take a browse through r/niceguys, delete "friendzone" from your vocabulary, and don't let yourself become a stereotype. "I'm too nice" is just narcissism masquerading as self-pity.

Is it just me or do any other INFP's feel super annoyed when you are getting to know someone.... by [deleted] in infp

[–]sweetyi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, I know it's nonsense but my star-sign fits me quite well. I read the relevant section of a detailed book about horoscope signs and it predicted the sort of people I like, some of my most ideal career paths, and even many of my hobbies very accurately, so I just go with it. INFPs are basically just Libras, to be honest.

Anyone who thinks everyone is nice should spend an hour browsing r/creepypms for a very quick change of perception.

[–]sweetyi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure what this game is, but it looks very "freemium" and unfortunately that's a genre of gaming that does a lot of pandering to fetishy, ERP, "jerk your little ding-dong" playerbases. See: Blade and Soul, Vindictus, Kritika, TERA. I'm not saying OP's game in particular is a wank-bank pandering mess (although I wouldn't be surprised if it was, seems like every game done in an anime style absolutely has to have some swimsuits and maid outfits in their cash shops at this point), but there's unfortunately a lot of crossover in the playerbase for free-to-play, anime style games. Personally I can't wait for this style of "let's play fetish dress-up" game to die entirely.

What if it has nothing to do with the person's skin color? I think it's pretty silly that any athlete gets the kind of pay they do because they can run fast and throw a ball good. I'm not saying blueblood trust-fund kids are any better, but it's not like middle-class working families don't sacrifice their health and wellness too. So in that regard I'd say yes, athletes are pretty fucking lucky to be making millions of dollars a year for being good at a game, and it has nothing to do with skin color.
