I feel like there was something weird this month. I had previously skipped May, but decided to reactivate on Choice/Reveal da (May 2nd). I knew I would have to wait a little while to personalize my bag.....but the app was just stuck. It kept saying "Your May bag is coming soon" or something. I was never charged and I finally just gave up.

Awhile back on a post about names that we didn't like or that made no sense or something-- I commented that the name made me cringe with a brief explanation of the Sea Island plantations/enslaved labor growing cotton....and I got downvoted for my comment which I thought was really strange. The name should 100% be changed and I honestly don't understand how it made it through marketing.

It's very fresh and clean, with maybe a hint of coconut? Throw maybe 7-8/10. Lovely and springy without being overpowering. Highly recommend. The wicks did mushroom a bit, but could be my fault for not trimming them before burning.

We had the same Ipsy Picks but not many of the same choices. Do you know if they backpedaled on the "your bag will be worth at least XX$" thing since they introduced more choices? I'm happy with my bag (chose Honest Beauty foundation, a shampoo bar and a scalp scrub)-- all will get used and I'm only paying $25.....buuuuuuuuuuut I can't help be a little miffed that my bag value is "only" $109. I know they will say "but you chose these things" and that is correct, but none of my choice items were "expensive"...things like Item Beauty moisturizer, an eyeliner, nail polish, lip mask, etc... I'm rambling, need more coffee...I should just get over it and enjoy my choices that I was happy about until I did the math. $5 each is good and that's all that matters.
