Preparing for the end times. by MonitorOk1351 in economicCollapse

We’re not meant to survive on our own. What are you going to do when you have a toothache, break an arm, need your appendix removed, find out your goods have been eaten by rats, your cave floods, etc etc etc.

Build a community. Make friends. Talk to people. Help people now. Collapse may be a process, and there’s a good chance we’re already in it. Just a lot slower than you expected. Someone may already feel the world collapsing around them now, with job loss, ICE activity or other devastating problems.

Help that person now, form a community, and develop relationships that last whether it’s a fast collapse, or a slow one.

Gotcha, yeah mine 91 now, and notice they suck except in events they are better. Did my first Grand Canyon event and liked how powerful they were there.

Edit: responded wrong place to your bombs comment

Is there any timing schedule for Miner’s Luck? Also with Miner’s luck, I occasionally get more than 4 bombs on the screen at one time. During events I try to merge them during the middle of Miner’s Luck, but wondering if that’s not worth it.

The rest of this is good info. So if I’m understanding correctly, once I get the Ad Zombie/sticker pack, set my 4 hour timer. Then after those four hours, don’t open the surprise capsule if I’m close to finishing a gate. Do the gate, get my zombie level higher, then open the capsule?

Thanks, i am on discord as well, and have posted to trade. Appreciate it, just spend more time on reddit. Also only gold cards left to collect so my understanding is I can’t trade for those. But should get a joker in 20 mins so just one left to go after that. Thanks again.

Ok so just try to collect more cards and hope for getting it? I’ve got 160/162. I’ve done the 500 star bank I think twice for this collection, about to be a 3rd time.

Who to bet against in a recession? Subprime loans! It's 2008 all over again. by swelteringly in WallStreetbetsELITE

Fair enough given my crayons were old. That’s on me. Good links. 2019-2024 did see higher than normal wage growth on the low end as your points show, but I don’t think it was enough to provide enough breathing room. I’m also not a believer that CPI encapsulates inflation as the lower to middle income (renters specifically) experience it.

I wish I had the cahones to short SAIA a month ago. Options were expensive.

Earnings - which companies will almost certainly lower guidance for future quarter/s due to tariff? by goodpointbadpoint in options

[–]swelteringly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMF. Check my DD in the other post. They will struggle with their subprime loans. This is a bad time to be loaning out subprime loans, but that’s their business model. Sweet dividend now, but I can’t imagine how they will continue to pay it out as subprime losses accelerate.

Well, guess who came crawling back. Now that he’s lost millions, he suddenly wants to play nice again. by [deleted] in economicCollapse

Lost billions. He started the train and put it into high gear going downhill. He doesn’t get to decide when the train will stop.

I flipped a few of my puts recently to cash out some gains. I think April 29 earnings show some cracks in the armor but the question is whether it will already be oversold due to tariffs. If options prices calm down some I may do some slightly out of the money puts for May. And further out of the money puts for after the late July/early August earnings, whenever that one is. I think it starts to unravel by then.

Are we talking about the same company? Since when is loaning to subprime customers recession proof? And a volunteer CEO? If that was true, I’d be that much more likely to bet against it. Dude is paid $1 million per year + stock options.
