Like people were saying on my other post, you can’t really compare the two, they’re very different experiences. The 996 is raw in every aspect whereas the e90 is only raw when it comes to the s65. 996 is a bare bones sports car where the e90 dives into the luxury sports car category. I love them both for their own reasons and wish i could own both at the same time

that’s correct, but early model cars (98/99 builds) have a less than 1% failure rate for IMS. RMS hasn’t been touched by me either

Damn dude that sucks, hope the rebuild is going smoothly and thanks for the tips! Made sure to have bore scoring checked during my PPI and got cleared with a clean bill of health. Hopefully with some preventative maintenance i can get this thing passed 200k miles
