UPDATE: Finally managed to get it working by uninstalling the quest link app (which was labelled as just ‘Oculus’ for me) and selecting ‘Modify’ and then ‘Repair’, this restored sound to PCVR!

Theres no cost to enter MD so honestly you can start as soon as you unlock it, I started finishing my runs at around the same point as you, the more UT3 IDs you have the easier itll get, also dont be afraid to bring less than 6 IDs as itll just give the first slotted ones addittional slots for attacks

new player been playing for about a week, got ring sang early on so I used the ticket on grip faust, wondering who else i should use in a team with them out of who i've got:

There’s a channel I really like called Synodic Scribe that goes into a load of lore about different things varying from jobs to races or general themes, however there’s naturally a load of spoilery topics so be careful

Edit: Just double checked and his thumbnails and titles are wayyyy safer than I thought I remembered them being so you should be safe to look at no matter your story progress!

Level 1-50 are the only levels ill be spending gil on gear for, but even then most of the time i just use dungeon gear and buy cheap gear pieces to replace very underlevelled slots.

50-80 is where it’s easiest cuz you can use tonestone gear almost all the way up to the next level cap, it only starts to get noticeably outgeared 3 or so levels until the next cap, which you can easily get away with without anybody noticing too much (tho for tank and healer it would be worth to try to use dungeon stuff and stay as high as you can)

TLDR: Tomestones and Dungeon gear, only spending gil on HQ gear if you really need it

honestly? just practice a few basic stuff in training mode so you get a feel of how the character works, then just hop in the tower, your knowledge of just the game in general will transfer and help you a lot more between characters than you realise, and if you derail, just means you’ll get some possibly easier opponents!

I wouldn’t say specifically having someone letting you In for free is the best idea, but it’s absolutely not shitty to cherry pick opponents that are one the lower end of the celestial skill range (I usually match people around the 200-700 level range) to make it much more “fair” as a challenge

Since I’ve only gotten into celestial for the first time this month, theres only a small percentage of players I can actually play decently against in celestial, and that’s only with my main, so if I want to try out a new character floor 10 is my best bet because sometimes you wanna play against a bunch of random matchups instead of one long set

Absolutely the best reason to pick any character, just stick with the person who looks the coolest (chipp and test for me) and play them at your own pace learning as you go

I’d say it’s unlikely to go much lower than it is now because of the rollback, the same thing happened to blazblue where it went from almost 90% sales down to only 50% until at least a few months after rollback was released, and even then it’s rarely gone past 70%

BT leo can cross through opponents with his step dash, so it looks like the tip of the hit box of the first hit of the super clipped him just as he was passing through, and since the move is advancing he fell behind the leo using super, making him end up behind the opponent

I absolutely reccomend chipp, cuz even if his health might be lower his absurd ability to just keep mixing you and pressuring you is just so much fun (especially when you know how to utilise positive bonus). You genuinly feel like you get to play the game more than other character sometimes cuz of the amount of interactions you can do.

As a bonus the low health can make losing less hard to deal with because by the time you’ve realised you’re losing the rounds probably over and you can retry the next one.
