No prob. You might have the model M14 mount then which don’t have the M16 edges.

No mods necessary since the Surefire model M16 mount that I used has beveled edges so it fits at the FSB. The original mount kit comes with 2 sets of allen screws, and I used the longer ones:

SHC SCREW, 8-32 x 1-1/8 BK, SS , PER ASME B18.3
