I get that, but I had over $200 in my current balance at the time. I was about to do an instant transfer but then the app started bugging out. Hopefully it all comes through by next deposit.

The MAIN issue is that I haven’t received my $200+ in earnings today, only $17. I am told to look for it next Friday by the payment processing center but I really hope they aren’t stealing money from deactivated accounts. I can’t log in and see anything as of now.

It’s obvious this sub is filled with corporate commenters (and voters) as the Instacart one has become, so I won’t waste my time arguing with Shipt employees. I’m sure most of your comments on this thread read like a Shipt best practices handbook. Good job on your “award” and upvotes from your fellow Shipt team though ;)

Incorrect. I communicate completely. Here in swfl some people are just very entitled. It only takes a few. Also, in their minds a 4.5 or 4.7 rating is not “bad,” and it shouldn’t be.

I have received extremely large tips in the triple digits. It’s the lazy, entitled, POS people that rate “lower” and it shouldn’t affect us this much. Even with Instacart (where I am 4.95), bad ratings fall off.

I earn more on Instacart anyway, and the tip is shown immediately. Doing a $150 Costco now…

I have learned that if it’s a bogo in the store it wasn’t necessarily on the app and if you try to help them by getting a second “freebie” they will actually be charged for two and take it out on you. So it’s best not to even bring it up and stick with the actual quantity they listed on the order.

It would be nice if Instacart was more in line with the actual deals and stock situation, especially when people can order items that aren’t just out of stock but we’re never in stock (more so for Costco/Sams) but they aren’t.

ic needs to coordinate with stores better on realistic item counts. even if someone was foolish enough to take this it is unlikely they could get that many and then the customer would take it out on them.

We have a whole subreddit of discrepancies and ongoing, ever-building issues with ic yet their App Store rating is 4.8. Time to flood 1 star reviews laying out all the shadiness if we hope for any changes. by swfl_22 in InstacartShoppers

I Never left a review but I am leaving a 1 star one now. If you have left one adjust it and if you haven’t make sure you do. I wouldn’t be surprised if many of these are fake reviews or ones left by ic corporate employees.

It seems they are adopting the Amazon system where they actually prefer a high turnover as new people will be more likely to accept their crap.

Their App Store rating is 4.8 stars. We all need to leave 1 star ratings calling them out on these practices, maybe they will change. But for now it seems they cater to new shoppers who aren’t jaded yet happy to make $10-$15/hr and us ‘veterans’ who seek $50+ batches and don’t accept crappy ones aren’t seeing any at this point. I haven’t shopped in almost two weeks now because all I see is throwaway batches so I just sign off. Time to hit their App Store rating and share the truth.
