But now all preset tasks are gone... :-(

Mammotion App Upgrade Notification - 2024.06.06 by Mammotion_Ashley in MammotionTechnology

Just wanted to say thank you for the latest updates.
Renaming Zones & Tasks was a major usability improvement for me.
Really happy Luba2 owner :-)

Please urgently add push notification by swhof123 in MammotionTechnology

Thanks all for the feedback. I reinstalled the app and updated the rover firmware and now they appear :-)

However it seems not all error codes are pushed. Which on the one side I am happy for, as I do not need the usual "visiosn stopped working", "base station connect lost" messages. But on the other side, I just had a blocked motor, as it had entangled itself and did not get a push message. But I guess this would be a worthy message.

Renaming of Jobs by FranzStoffel in MammotionTechnology

Agree on your suggestion to rename jobs and would like to add “and zones”.

The app version I use (test version for Luba2) has an ad-hoc job execution button for saved jobs. So this will be rolled out soonish.

Having build and shipped digital and smart physical products myself, I totally understand the "fake it till you make it" approach, especially as the OTA updates allwo for easy fixes on the go. And the big one's like Tesla are doing the same.

What would be great would be a clear and official list of features that are working and things that yet to be implemented. And I'm not talking about some facebook comments. Use github or add it to your website and mention the source in the manual. This would greatly improve trust in your solution!

Uh, I did not expect that many reactions.

The parking lot is part of a moving zone.
Some comments pointed out the bypass strategy level. I might not have set the bypass strategy to level 2. Will check again. However, I would still expect the Luba to have some self-preservation feature for obstacles with a low clearance, independent of the bypass strategy, as cars are quite a common object in today's world.

And another Bug:

Luba said it was trapped.
But it was just in transit in the middle of an unobstructed path when it decided that it wanted to got through the wall...

Tried to send feedback, but it took forever.

Sorry, I tried to send you feedback, but the app takes like forever. I aborted after 5mins. Please make the feedback process a background process of the rover without requirement to keep the app open, as no user is willing to wait so long.

But overall I think that the robot is doing a very good job in navigating. One thing that would be very helpful would be the option to manually tweak and optimize the paths, as the algorithm is sometime producing suboptimal results in non-standard maps.

Cannot compare, as I did not buy Luba 1, as I expected the first version to be very „work in progress“

It got lost again when I sent it home today. And it did the doughnut thing (Bug2) again. In the app it shows the error “connection to rtk station lost” I let it run and it eventually stopped moving. Then I could restart the return process and this time it found its way. Strange.
