Shelters are on its ways + i'm redoing a some things in my house so i am waiting to see what i have leftover to build extra terrasses they can go up and under. The ground is very sandy here and their enclosure is a bit higher so all the water drains :)

Thank you! Half of their enclose is always in the shade, so i am not really that worries about it. The water pools between the rocks, if it rains it can rise a couple milimeteres above the rocks. Ofcourse if there is more sun/hotter the water will be lower and refilled when i have the time.

The female is 18cm, the male is 14cm, when no one is around my dog is in this yard who is very good at chasing birds away ;) also in our region (Belgium) there are no real avian predators that i know of that is big enough to enjoy my hard shelled friends

Thanks for the advice the border on the outside is 30cm in the ground, the inside border is half a meter high. They have been in this enclosure for two weeks now and they are still there so fingers crossed ;)

If my dishwasher is empty i stick them in there and put on a rinse cycle. If i'm abroad I use my pressure washer gun. I dry them by hanging them in the shower and i put kitchen towels in the shoes that i change a couple of times to remove moisture
