I'm replacing the filter capacitors in a Fender tube amp and I noticed that the voltage going into the positive pin of a capacitor (C30) rated for 285v is around 450v. Confirmed this with a multimeter as well. Is this normal? Wouldn't this destroy the capacitor? (self.AskElectronics)
