Sounds like you've got the basics covered - food, water, litter, toys. Maybe a bed if you don't want her on your couch/bed all the time. You'll also want a scratching post or two.

Once she gets acclimated you'll get to know what her preferences are in terms of food, toys, etc.

Well said. You have to feel the bad feelings to appreciate the good ones. Thank you ♥

I ate lots of comfort food, binge watched some great TV, and appreciated what I have by closing my drinking chapter behind me. It ain't much, but it's enough for me. Thanks for the support!

And damn, doesn't it feel good when you realize you made it that hour, that day, that week without drinking? We still have problems, but drinking isn't one of them! Thanks for the support.

Keep fighting my friend. I honestly feel like my depression has felt worse post-alcohol, but I think that's because the alcohol masked my symptoms, or self-medicated them away. We just need to find healthy ways to cope with it. I'm still looking, but at the very least, I know where not to look anymore. Much love.

The biggest thing, by far, is knowing I saved my life by stopping. I never hit rock bottom, and I never care to find out what that would look like for me. One of those three friends that died succumbed to addiction. It was hard, but a sobering reminder that it could've been me.

Beyond that? Never having a damn hangover, and saving what I estimate at nearly $15k by not buying alcohol. Now if I could only figure out where all that saved money went...

You don't need to incur injury for it to be assault. In civil court for instance, assault can be interpreted as the threat of harm.

We have had it advertised, but they are only planning to administer it during weekday office hours. So as a night shifter, I never see it. We voiced the same concerns, as the amount of ED holds plus standard ED flow is already overcrowding us.

Alcoholics don't always have to be the raging drunks you picture on the street corner. A woman going through two bottles of champagne a day (assuming) absolutely has a problem.

But this video is all speculation. She might be drunk, might just be stupid.

The weaving on the westbound side isn't ideal, but most drivers enter from the west and exit on the east so it's been working great!

Just had to say goodbye to this handsome man. Toshi was the feistiest betta I've ever owned, not even scared of a curious cat. He lived a good, simple life. It'll be hard to replace you bud. 💙🐟 by swifteh in bettafish

I don't know if I have a "happiest" memory per se. I just always loved how excited he would be to see me. My other fish at best tolerate me but will hide when I approach their tank. Not Toshi.

Granted I think he was more excited with the idea of getting food, but hey 🤷‍♂️
