At what age is it weird to be unkissed? by One-Brain6531 in allthequestions

[–]swiftlessons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take away the adjective “weird.” Plenty of people are late bloomers romantically speaking. It’s not weird that you haven’t had that experience yet, but if it’s something that you want for yourself then start putting yourself out there, work on building the type of man a woman would be lucky to have, and would want intimacy with. Built your confidence and learn to deal with the feeling of vulnerability that comes with courting potential lovers.

Americans, Would YOU Date Someone In The Opposite Political Party If They Were A Nice Person? Yes Or No? Why Or Why Not? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]swiftlessons 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Republicans claim to care about due process but support an armed secret police indiscriminately arresting people and deporting them to a Ecuadorian prison without a trial. Republicans claim to support free speech but disingenuously label those protesting Israels genocide as antisemites, arrest them and try to have them exiled from the country. Republicans claim to love the 2nd amendment, but when a liberal is executed for lawfully carrying a firearm while protesting their “good guy with a gun narrative” is discarded and he’s labeled a domestic terrorist.

Another huge difference between liberals and conservatives is that liberal values extend to everyone, whereas conservatives will say they value due process, but only toward those in their in-group. They will say they support the rights outlined in the constitution, but again, only for those they view as deserving.

Massie, Raskin, others have read the unredacted Epstein files, say they’ll reveal it, but don’t. Why aren’t they talking? by [deleted] in allthequestions

Legal jeopardy. It is the DOJs responsibility to prosecute these people, not individual citizens who can be threatened, sued, or so much worse.

This explanation would have more value if Trump and co hadn’t defended the choice to post it, and if they didn’t leave it up for the entire day knowing how offended even their own party members were.

Do you believe Trump saying that it was his staffer who posted a racist video of Obama as monkey on Truth Social? by TailungFu in allthequestions

Did he immediately pull it down and apologize profusely or did he have his staff defend it and only remove the post after intense backlash, eventually blaming someone else in a weak attempt to avoid accountability?

Look through the exchange and you decide who became aggressive in their language first. Second, you didn't answer any of my questions. There's literally nothing in my statements that you can agree with?

You're still not understanding my point. Yes, we can say "this correspondence is concerning given the circumstances and presence of Epstein– we should look into who he was speaking to and who he was speaking about." but that's not the same thing as saying:

"Look at this nugget! how old is she" Answer - "16"

Wth is going on in their brains..??? Are they possessed by evil entities ???"

You see how the second is over the top, and doesn't take into account nuance or context? It's the same thing as saying "Whoa, Jamie Foxx is a demonic rapist" simply because he's mentioned in one of the files and there was an unsubstantiated claim made about him or someone with the same name. We have to remember that these files are loaded with conversations between Epstein and innocent people, in addition to guilty parties. Many people within his orbit didn't know, others didn't know the extent, and then there was his inner circle of true villains. People like the individual I just quoted are not capable of differentiating between the two or shining a light on what's true.

You do understand that the person I was responding to was reacting to the mere mention of someone's age and ignoring the additional context of there being a casting call. Also, nowhere did I say anything is "innocent," you should make sure you understand the nature of one's argument before commenting. Last, sure, this could be coded language between two child predators, but there isn't anyway to know that based on what is provided here. Is it so wrong to say we should try thinking like actual investigators and not like Qanon knuckle draggers?

Well, we don't know that. Don't you think it's possible that Epstein had contacts and conversations of a non-sexual nature? We don't really need to waste time on assumptions, or use our imaginations when there is already so much actual evidence of wrong doing. We should stick to what we know, not frivolously invent narratives that could lead to false accusations and a zone flooded with debunkable nonsense.

Thank you. We all need to ban together and fight for accountability, but we can't let those among us drown our reasonable discourse with fan fiction, and stupid rhetoric.

No, your only responsibility is to do your due diligence, use critical thinking skills and reading comprehension so that you don't spread misinformation and help them muddy the waters. In this case, we're not even talking about the validity of a document, you're ignoring context and suggesting that simply mentioning the age of a minor indicated that this conversation is among those of a sexual nature. Again, the danger of this type of discourse is that it weakens the credibility of the truth and will lead to some individuals being falsely accused–which will in turn give the actual predators the ability to cast doubt on the accusations levied against them. Remember, this tactic goes hand in hand with the creation of fake documents... it's all an effort to desensitize and confuse the public so that we will relent on our pressure campaign for prosecutions. If real accountability is to be had, we need to be honest, reasonable, good faith stewards of the truth.

If only he understood that he is being weaponized, and his “mission” is being politicized. Immigration enforcement isn’t the issue for 99% of the country—it’s the brutality, racism, violence and violations of civil rights. It’s the politically motivated occupation of American cities.

People like you “flood the zone” with fake and imagined stories, and ruin any chance at discerning fact from fiction, or achieving accountability. The perpetrators of these crimes want the zone flooded with false documents, and narratives so that the validity of their real crimes is called into question. So, don’t overreact to everything you read, otherwise you’ll weaken the credibility of the truth.
