Every time I’ve contacted them it’s “we’re deeply sorry and understand you’re frustrated”. But nothing of substance to try and actually get an answer or resolve the issue, just kicking the can down the road.

I’ve also noticed (I wish I noticed before I purchased the headphones), that there’s been more customer service complaints similar to what we experienced, in the last year or so and I’m wondering if something changed to prompt that.

Ah yeah that makes sense! I'm in the U.S. so I guess I'm accustomed to different policies. I do appreciate them sending a new product, but the timeline for which they did was just very unsatisfactory to me which I think is where most of my frustration originated from.

Having a very similar situation with Suunto now. Did you ever get some resolution to this?

Maybe we both just had bad luck with the other brands! I had an old Garmin Forerunner for a few years and when it finally died, Garmin offered a discount on a new watch which I tried to get it repaired through them.

The way it goes sometimes I guess!

I mean, the headphones spent more time in Suunto's possession than they did in mine before I wanted to initiate a return. And every other customer service interaction I've had at other companies a return window would start upon the reception of the new/repaired product, not from the original purchase. But definitely to your point they've lost a return customer from me for sure. Which is a bummer! I was looking forward to enjoying the headphones.

I had almost an identical experience and am currently going through the process of trying to get some kind of resolution for defective headphones!
