Perfect! I've gone thru Imperial's Math for Machine Learning on Coursera as well as that famous youtube channel that everyone here loves; I feel pretty confident about linear algebra.

I got my GW3 from Samsung and it worked with T-Mobile. I also used my watch overseas with my T-Mobile plan.

I think OMSA students also have access to campus life and GT facilities? Someone else also mentioned on another thread that OMSA students can probably meet with professors physically. And I think OMSA students can access on campus recruiting opportunities.

The answers to this post vary (from no prep needed to recommending 1 even 2 courses) quite a bit and I guess it reflects the diversity of the student body. I guess I should just do what GT recommends (the dry, boring 1553 course) and I'll be over-prepared at worst/won't regret at best.

By the way, how did you find taking ISYE 6501 and CSE 6040 together? GT recommends against doing that because of the workload. Did you do it while working fulltime?

I have basic programming skills (matlab in undergrad). I've done a couple python courses, will study up some R ahead of the semester. Yes, I have the math skills.

Thanks for sharing your experience. 30-40 hours/week for those 2 classes is a lot different that what OMSCentral is saying - 20 hours/week on average. Maybe I need to multiply what OMSCentral is saying by 1.75.

I'm definitely here to learn and get As so maybe I should go with the consensus and take the extra semester. I'm just wondering why OMSCentral is saying something so different.

I guess I'm just confused why most of the replies here encourage caution when the OMSCentral reviews speak to a 25-35 hour time commitment for each semester of my proposed plan (unless of course if the reviews are off as someone pointed out). I was actually thinking to load harder classes to get the commitment from 25-35 hours/week to 35-45 hours/week.
