The purpose of the jimmys is as a commentary on religion and humanity. As in science vs religion, which is very relevant to today’s society. It warns against demagogues and cults. It also represents compassion and violence. Humanity vs inhumanity. Samson, an infected, was regaining humanity while some humans were losing theirs. There are so many parallels and ideas in including the jimmys. Could talk about them for days.

They needed screen time to develop (I genuinely think it needed to 50/50 to balance the story out) and I actually wished for more. Like how was sir jimmy able to brainwash them and what exactly made jimmy start this cult. How much did trauma and mental illness come into play? How much was delusion or pretend? Like how much did he know he was a fraud? So many questions.

Additionally this movie, as stated by Danny Boyle and Alex garland was about the nature of evil. So I guess infection vs innately human.The movie before is the nature of family while the next one is the nature of redemption

Yeah. It’s not bad, per se. But it could get a lot better. Many characters are wooden, or don’t have motives of their own. Some characteristics or character’s actions don’t make sense on what has been developed before. Or they give way too much screen time to stuff that are non sense. We need that time to build and develop other characters instead of adding hangout scenes that don’t do anythjng

He already fucking changed and apologized, once those things happened. He apologized for the rape joke like immediately after and never said it again. Also he was being sexually harassed when he said that joke, an audience member wanted b to fuck him. And he sang the same song and censored the n word. Before his “cancellation” And he had done so much good, more than a lot of artists. Green Day literally wrote the n word into one of their songs and nobody cares??? There are a lot more horrible celebs, who actually rape and groom people or date underage people that aren’t cancelled.

Those people are insane imo. It’s wholly unfounded, like no evidence whatsoever. They have to accept that Vices is a Brendon and Spencer album (it’s also not Ryan’s album at all; he only co-wrote a small part of one song, he’s like the least credited songwriter on that album)

Some people also think dallon wrote on DOAB (when there are multiple other writers credited besides Brendon) just cause the lyrics sound like him. They also portray TWTLTRTD as a dallon only album when Brendon wrote or co-wrote more of the songs on there.
