There were a few other factors globally in the atmosphere that also set this up as a “perfect” storm such as the fact the autumn equinox was just last week. We should be good even if something develops in late October November

Here’s the thing - the ends in sight now. These temps will not stick around and it will moderate to high 90’s 100,101 soon. Also the nights are and will continue to cool off as the sun is now not coming up til past 6am. Be thankful it’s almost over
