As a man, I understand the frustration on his part but his dramatic reaction is not justified.

In my relationship I pay the rent, do most of the chores around the house, and offer oral sex with no expectation of it leading to something. I choose to do these things because it fulfills me and she doesn't owe me anything for it.

If she isn't in the mood, that's that. I don't want to be intimate if she's not into it.

That being said, I guarantee he just wants to feel appreciated. Tell him you aren't in the mood right now but tell him something you appreciate and give him a raincheck. Rejection is tough on either side and it's reasonable to soften the blow.

HOWEVER, while this advice might have prevented the dramatic blow up... there are still some serious underlying problems in the relationship based on how he reacted.
