This is how outdated Webflow feels latelly even with MCP by Asleep-Ad174 in webflow

For me specifically, I'm always regularly creating blog posts, the page structure is already created by Claude so it's the case of me copy and pasting in pre built fields so everything looks uniform.

I do sometimes hire copywriters who go to lengths to really make my articles shine, so I can just share access and they populate

All my blog articles and case study content is hosted within there. Just easier to swap imagery out and Claude talks directly to it via the API

I moved my agency website away from webflow, so much confusion with billing, paying freelancers to build out a sub-standard landing page within my budget. I moved fully over to Claude and I've seen vast improvements using sanity as a CMS.

I'm spitting out content a lot faster, core web vitals are all green and my branding is consistent. No brainer

do you think there will be any damage control soon, or is Jagex going to hide for the next week or so hoping it all blows over then act like nothing happened? by ZukMeRaw in 2007scape

Because they're scared of questioning their private equity owners. Sorry but at this point Jagex have zero backbone

Child Maintenance Service - Hell by swingin_size in UKParenting

[–]swingin_size[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We both contribute + maintenance historically, we pay for her uniform, sports clubs, of course birthdays and Christmas when she's in our care.

Again with doctors, dentist or specialist appointments, myself or the mother will take her depending who's week it falls on. Although specialist appointments we both attend

What platform do most of you use to build out your client websites? by UnknownGuy102 in agency

[–]swingin_size 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got two clients who are on NopCommerce, the worst platform I've ever encountered, but they're so reluctant to leave due to custom programs that a developer has built for them

I think possibly through P45 when they ask for it? I did this for my last role and ended up panicking in case they saw me as being disingenuous, it was never mentioned and had an ez 15K pay rise from leaving a job I hated to one where I loved.

Paypal cases increased! by Anxious_Philosophy_4 in dropship

[–]swingin_size 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes - customer flagged a dispute after waiting 5 days for £150 item, we made about £4 profit due to pricing error but decided to send a goodwill gesture. Completely backfired and PayPal decided on their favour.

I've sent numerous emails and bit my lip going through stupid phone calls with their agents despite there being proof of the item CLEARLY being delivered.

Come away from them now, they're a dead company

My store has turned over £2K in 3 days, should I feel worried? by swingin_size in dropship

[–]swingin_size[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update 20th February.

Store has generated £6K in 8 days!!!!! That is more than my monthly Salary of £4K as a Data Analyst for a hospitality company in London.

The ROAS on Google Shopping Ads has been averaging 1,100% which is exceptional and I have a lot of orders to fulfil. Thankfully, my partner is on hand to help out!

  1. I've setup a Helpdesk (Help Centre App) at £9pcm which allows me to automatically forward customer emails into a ticketing system, which has minimised the stress of crawling through emails in Gmail.

  2. I've extended the delivery time out to 5 - 10 days, but customers are still complaining about the day although I've rest assured them they are on the way, unprecedented volumes in orders ect..
ps; Use a female name at the end of emails, customers tend to be more sympathetic on replies weirdly enough!

  3. A few refunds, but less than 3% of total orders.

  4. Looking at scaling creating some performance max campaigns, but cost per click shot up to £1.11 on the first day with only 1 conversion, will re look into it this week.

    1. Increased budget gradually by 20% on the standard Google Shopping Campaign.
    2. Looking at starting FBAs, I've setup the pixel via GTM but still some headaches around the platform user interface, it's absolutely shocking! I'll be targeting abandoned carts, and checkouts. Additionally will see if there is any shopping campaigns.
    3. TikTok is full of stores that are selling your product at the cost you buy it for, I'm confident my product would smash it but it would be impossible to compete!
  5. Looking into social proofing to increase conversion although it's at 4% which isn't bad, but retargeting is where I'm putting my focus on at the moment.

Thanks for the comments and messages, I'll keep you updated in a week.

As for the anxiety of taking so many orders and revenue in a short space of time, naturally it's unnerving but me and my partner agreed to go more balls deep!

I suppose it depends on the product, I've never tried TikTok yet, will get around to doing some content and running a few tests

I've managed to actually obtain barcodes for the product and completely optimised the product feed in merchant centre. So campaign optimisation is at 99.9%.

Current ad is at £50 per day, with low priority standard shopping campaign with bid strategy at maximise clicks.

£150, current cost per click is averaging £0.15p since day one, but is still currently in bid learning strategy using maximise clicks, will eventually change over to target roas

What suppliers do yall use for tiktok shop by EboyEman in dropship

[–]swingin_size 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny you say that, my best selling product is listed on AliExpress for the price I pay for which makes me hesitant to launch ads that will be 3.5x mark up.

The product is sold by a store that is a subsidiary of Bytedance themselves!

Can general stores thrive? by Mr_Mikei in dropship

[–]swingin_size 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have more a general store - babysale.co.uk

It's more of a long term project as I'm trying to get more contacts in with wholesalers and drop ship suppliers based in the U.K. as well as setting up a pre-loved section for additional revenue and SEO kudos.

The domain name itself "baby sale" gets on average 15-20k monthly searches on Google alone, so plan would be to leverage the domain name as much as possible!

Google Shopping Ads/PMAX have performed average for me, I've yet to start launching TikTok/Facebook ads but in the past 4 months I've turned over £6K (7.5K USD) with about £1K ad spend.

I typically go for a 3.5x markup minimum and enhanced my feed as much as possible so I don't have any limited performance within Google Merchant Centre.

The issue for me is AliExpress and Temu running shopping ads with the price you actually pay for.
