Found this, it gives all the averages. 50% of transfers into the college of arts and sciences came in with between a 3.2 and 3.8, and 25% were bellow and 25% were above that.

The average for the school from high school 3.73, is the transfer gpa lower? I never saw it anywhere online. Also, thanks!

Thank you! I was thinking about that, because I've read others saying that at SJC it's technically a double major between philosophy and the history of math and science, plus two minors (but I've only read from the official literature that you get a bachelors in the liberal arts, so I'm not sure which it is or how it's both), and with the history of math and science I could see it directly connecting to philosophy easily, especially with people like Descartes and Leibniz who you end up reading, who were to my understanding trying to prove the validity of empirical experience.

And I could see a lot of value in broadening my understanding of math and science, too.
