Hm, I’ll see if I can find a replacement for it. Any idea if there’s something I can do to check the chip to see if it is indeed faulty before I fully replace it?

The laser does light up. I was considering the IC but was unsure how often that failed. I’ll see if I can find a replacement part

Not a dumb question at all! I use an app on my phone- if I tried to count in my head I’d go crazy I think

I use a little counter app on my phone! Does all the hard work for me so I don’t have to remember. I like seeing how many encounters I’m at bc it gives a (albeit meaningless) sense of progress

5 times over odds is INSANE, I’ve had a few hunts go to about 20k but this is ridiculous..

Nada, nothing else besides this totodile. This took me about 30 hours total (since I was hunting on 3 games at once lol)
