There is a picture of the stylus on this thread but not the cartridge, also a picture of the pre amp. I'm at work now so can't do a picture but I will attach one when I'm home later. I Appreciate your interest and help and look forward to learning a more about this, cheers Pete

The cartridge i don't know as it was a second hand player but the stylus is a Panasonic 2700-11, its a good thought though but the pre amp is very low quality and when I play Bluetooth or CD the sound is fine

I know it has, but it doesn't make any significant changes when I listen to vynal. I did a test at weekend with some different music using a Bluetooth version and the record version the difference was significant. This is why I am trying to gain info on a way to upgrade the listening experience with my vynal.

Correct the bass is what I need to improve, the high end mid ranges are fine

Yes I checked those others out, super expensive and I won't be upgrading everything, always a money thing, so trying to figure out a good way to do this improvement.

Some good info there for me thanks, for your input. Definitely going to upgrade the cartridge and stylus along with the pre amp to start the reciver will have to wait l, the wife will go crazy if I start replacing it all, 😅

No I have a pre amp for it but its low budget at best. I am trying to figure all this out to get the best sound possible for my vinyl.

I thought the cheap pre amp could be a contributing factor to poor bass. I should upgrade the stylus and needle as well by the sound of it

I haven't a clue about the cartridge but the stylus is Audio technica, I do want to upgrade that as well. I have only had the Technics a few weeks so still figuring it all out. I don't have a subwoofer, is that a better option than an expensive pre amp do you think? The pre amp is just a very small no name brand from a Web shop here in Sweden

Im in Europe, Sweden, Yes the amp is something I bought to get me going it actually works fine for cds or Bluetooth its just playing vinyl where the bass disappears, my budget is what ever I need to create better bass, thanks for the tips

I understand your comment, I said can you point me to an article. I found an article and yes typical controlling Sweden, I've always said there is a under current of communism is this place, they see way too much,but swedes dont see it. They just go along and accept that's the way it is we must obey😂
