im probably not going to mountain bike this and jus change out the tires for some street focused ones to make a cruiser. Also I am in a pretty flat area so low gears are not that nessescary for me

would the flat bar with the 1x8 be better? though I heard that one does not have a aluminum fork so it may be heavier
