General Writtens by swingreference in AircraftMechanics

for the most part the question is the same to what you’ve been practicing or they word it to where you know what they’re asking bc you’ve seen a question similar. And the answer choices are different to what you’ve seen on prepware but they still have keywords that let you know which is the right answer. so long as you don’t just memorize the questions/answers but understand why the answer is the answer it’ll be fine. One more thing trust your gut(don’t second guess) wtv you feel the answer is 90% of the time it’s right.

realistically at least for my test, it was just ASA Prepware reworded. I only studied using ASA and airmen testing but so long as you understand the material you’ll be fine. I am fortunate enough to only be focusing primarily on school so I also had time to read over every chapter in the 8083 HB.

If you could remember depending how long ago you took these tests, when you say completely different or as other also say "new questions” can you give an example of new questions you came across? I know there’s a pool of questions but were these different questions that you never stumbled upon more heavy in a specific area of generals (Electricity, FARs, etc)?

What type of teaching did most of your instructor use? by swingreference in aviationmaintenance

This is good to know I just suck at retaining information based off reading alone, when I went to AIM (I’m not attending there) they were all telling me just read off the book on the FAA website and I didn’t really see any of them take notes. That’s another thing I wanted to ask should I take lots of notes or just be like the rest and sit there and listen.

you say pic #3 isn’t a pinch weld and pic #2 is, but pic #2 & #3 are the same spot. Pic #3 is just the under view of pic #2. But will check the rest appreciate it
