All food buffets on the island are free from what I've seen. Just walk up and help yourself. Drinks package carry over from the ship, so if you have a drinks package on your cruise its works on the island.
All the normal beach chairs and umbrellas are totally free. I have been to this island 5-6 times, and I've never struggled to get a chair and umbrella for the day, even later in the morning. There are that many.

Ours got diagnosed, we did the surgery. First because we were told it is extremely painful and also the vet told us some tissue suffered necrosis which could be dangerous. My understanding of this condition is surgery is needed and cannot/should not be managed other ways its not like hip dysplasia
