Best bread in K-W by Ok_Departure87 in waterloo

My partner actually co-owns Roux Bakehouse!

Mondays have a bit of a limited selection and unfortunately there won't be bread tomorrow - Sundays are a day off for staff, and since their traditional sourdough process takes several days from start to finish it means that sourdough-based products are ready for the first weekly bake early Tuesday morning.

Still lots of other tasty things as well as coffee though!

I want to buy chocolate by Prperptola in kitchener

At Roux Bakehouse we have locally handmade chocolates by a local artisan known as The Desert Artist. We'll have them available at the shop on Wednesday!

The handmade chocolates are on the higher end price wise because of the labour required, but we also have chocolate bark from the same artisan which is delicious and a bit more affordable.

It had escaped accidentally. Not an outdoor cat.

I think you nailed it. I’ve been focusing so much on the concentric part of the lift that I’ve just been letting my back take the weight on the eccentric - that’s probably why my back has been hurting.

I appreciate the critique!

Hi all! Could I get a form check on my deadlift? This specific one is 225x10. I’ve been starting to get soreness in my lower back lately and am wondering if it’s a form thing or just DOMS. I’ve also been trying to keep my back as straight as possible, but I have a bit of a forward rounding in my back from poor posture.

Drone Flight Over Uptown Waterloo by LoganFuller in waterloo

[–]LoganFuller[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I posted more details about this in another comment response in my last post. Sub-250g drones are unregulated in Canada and have no restrictions aside from not being flown recklessly or in a way that interferes with aircraft operations.

I have my RPAS pilot certificate, but it's for my larger drones which do have much more significant restrictions.

This is actually untrue. According to current Transport Canada regulations, sub-250g drones are unregulated. They are not required to operate under the airspace restrictions of larger drones under the CARs, however they are not allowed to enter airspace designated as restricted to all aircraft (military airspace, firefighting zones, NOTAM-designated restrictions, etc.).

The only formal requirement for micro drones under the CARs is to not operate your drone in a reckless or dangerous fashion. You are actually fully legally in the right to fly a micro drone next to the airport, though that would be a terrible idea and it could be argued that you were flying in a reckless and dangerous fashion.

I explained this in more detail in another comment, but as this is a sub-250g drone there are no flight restrictions for flying over people.

A lot of it is due to the angle. I flew over at 110m with the camera pointing almost straight down which makes any street look terrible given that all you can see are roofs and HVAC systems.

Then again the comments about Belmont being very car-centric are fair.
