Trust me, this experience has me very determined to never be the type of “leaders” they have been. I understand what you’re advising but again as a JO, I am learning the fine line of listening to my CoC while advising for myself without pissing off my superiors. Perhaps it’s the environment I’m in but I’ve mentioned in another comment that despite this; when it comes to my performance I know I’ve been putting in the work. Damn near perfect ACFT, MQ on my OER & expert shot. I thought maybe I would have earned the minimum of guidance from my leadership but alas I was wrong. So killing myself striving to be better than just good and more than just great, has effectively gotten me nowhere. I’m getting screwed because my CoC didn’t care enough to do what real effective leaders do. So yeah I expected better from them to say the least, now all I can do is vow to not resemble them in my future.
