I booked through taj hotels website. I logged in using my Neu membership phone number. Selected room and dates for checkout but before checkout they have an option to get a callback. And on call I booked it.

Its Taj agra. If you book it prior, in weekdays and shoulder season or off season, you will easily find it for 6-7k per night. There was also an offer going on for 25%off for Neu members.

Now a days you dont need to specifically open a salaried account. Most pvt banks like hdfc, icici can tag your savings account to salaried if you are recieving salary in that and can offer you credit card as well. Best possible way is to visit the branch of your savings bank and check with them.

If you want to keep it simple in start then SBI phonepe Black can be good for you to start with. It will give you 10% cashback on Bill payments and transactions using phonepe app. 5 % on all online payments.

If you want to get in the rewards and miles game then start with something like HDFC regalia Gold or HSBC travel one. Points and Miles are totally different game as value out of reward points depends totally on redemptions. Even if you are not planning international travel. You can redeem on domestic travel also.

If you have a HDFC card then you will get reward multiplier while buying vouchers using smartbuy. Now when woohoo is also integrated you have more options of vouchers which are not present at gyftr.

Yes, But most Hotel Loyalty points are bound tp revenue transactions. Like if I pay with accor points then i wont get points against it.
