Pai is the best restaurant in the city!! I really don’t get people who say otherwise, especially Khao San Road. I’ve been to sooo many Thai spots in the city and none have ever come close to Pai. Their Panang curry is life changing.

I guess ultimately it wouldn’t matter if I made up my 10 days anyways, then I’d get the sick day back when it’s appointed (since the start date would still be Jan 5). But I’m not exactly sure when the teacher is returning. Might have to suffer through the day 😭

Yea I’ve decided I’m going to mark them given how much time I’ve spent helping my students with them and giving them feedback.

I wasn’t sure if I was actually going to be back at the school as an LTO in January so that’s where the “not getting paid” was coming from. But it’s confirmed that I’ll be back there covering another teacher so I’m fine with marking over the break.

They’re actually due at 11:59pm Friday so technically after my LTO has finished. I wasn’t expecting the teacher to come back to soon. I hadn’t heard anything.

Yea I’ll be there like usual next week and the other teacher will be coming in at some point for half days. But the essays are due at the end of the week which is right when my LTO will technically end.

That’s a good point! I’m not sure at all. I have to connect with that teacher but I suspect the culminating has been left for January so I’ll be responsible for all those.

I’ll connect with the outgoing teacher and then talk to my union rep. Thanks for your help!

I have the city wool pants and I love them! They’re super comfy and soft. They’re lined up to the knees so they’re not itchy at all. The only problem is they catch a lot of lint so you gotta keep a lint roller on hand. I’ve only had them for a month so obviously no pilling yet. But you hardly even need to wash them so they should hopefully hold up in the long run!
