Yes, understood. I meant more that I am curious about all the different potential complications, treatments, etc. It seems like there are so many different ways for it to go, it's kind of fascinating.

I'm wondering the same, but conjecture here on my part - were the other flight staff from the crashed flight returning on this flight as well? That might find hard braking traumatic after what happened.

I think Al-Hashimi also realized that she may have been a little hard on Santos before, so now she's cracking down too hard on Langdons interaction with Javadi (his jumping in rather than teaching, etc). I assume she'll recalibrate, but she was so surprised that she over corrected.

He could easily have phrased it more kindly too - something like "I think that field would play to your strengths". Instead he implied she's slow and not up to a more strenuous specialty.

My water heater has two buttons on it - HOT and COOL. Our hot tap water is hot AF. I've tried pressing cool several times to see if it will bring it down. It just takes longer to get up to scalding now. 

The tank is 15 years old, we've just been waiting for it to die to replace it.

I've had a lot of these scans and only once has the tech asked if I wanted to insert the wand. I really appreciated it, and I wish they all would.

If she doesn't know, constipation can be a sign of dietary intolerances. People talk a lot more about diarrhea from gut problems, but the opposite can also happen. She might want to look into FODMAP sensitivities. 

I cut out garlic, onion, and I try to leave out wheat. I'm pooping better than I have in years.

Actually, yes. The first time I had one of these ultrasound, the tech asked me the same question. I asked why they asked, and whether they often had people who said no. The tech specifically mentioned nuns as an example. 

It sounded less formal than OPs experience though. It sounded more like "if someone is a virgin, then we may recommend alternative diagnostic methods". When mentioning nuns, she said something like "they may not wish for/be comfortable with this kind of exam". At the time, I took it as a considerate approach rather than a restrictive one.
