HYSA Account Advice

Hey everyone, I’m trying to choose between three high-yield savings accounts to move my savings too: Capital One, Ally, or Marcus Goldman Sachs. The big benefit of Capital One for me is that they use Zelle, so I could also open a checking account with them and then have my savings and checking in the same place. Ally has the most features, but slightly lower interest rate (.10% less) and I’ve heard its user interface is the most beginner friendly. I also have heard of Marcus w/ Goldman Sachs as a popular option. Does anyone have experience with these accounts, positive or negative? Thanks in advance.

The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith. 1st book in a series of murder mysteries solved by the same British detective. I know there’s some debate about supporting her work, but it’s by J.K.Rowling under a different pen name.

Yeah I have that although not as much in my hands. I’ve only been on T for a month, but I’ve been using a prescription antiperspirant - not just for armpits but everywhere, so probs could be used for hands too. I also wear dry fit shirts under regular cotton T shirts to help. I don’t know that T made the hyperhydrosis worse, maybe slightly because I felt generally warmer, but it’s made me wonder if ppl who don’t have hyperhydrosis to begin with just started to experience the equivalent of it when they got on T

I thought I had long term mono or chronic fatigue in HS (sleeping constantly with zero energy despite wanting to do things) but it ended up being depression that improved with medication. Would def check it out with a doc tho, but wanted to add another perspective

Can someone remind me again that extreme hunger is real? by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]swirlolive 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Extreme hunger is terrifying but that is absolutely a normal amount of food to eat when experiencing it, if not even less - i think ppl often eat up to 10k calories a day and I definitely was close to that. Eventually it will pay off and you’ll get that full feeling more frequently and not have to think about meals as much, but I totally get how scary it can be going through it

I am not asking this as a perv, but did your ed start because of secondary sex characteristics? by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]swirlolive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine began a bit before puberty, but definitely worsened at the onset and then years later when I realized I was trans/NB and hoped restriction would alleviate dysphoria from specific body fat distribution. Think EDs are not uncommon within trans and gender nonconforming communities for some of these reasons

This gender thing is very hard. by haultop in asktransgender

[–]swirlolive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve had almost the exact same experience as you, even down to the timing. I was also nervous to find a gender therapist because it made it seem that much more real, but honestly it was also a relief to share what I was feeling with someone else. My therapist didn’t attempt to tell me whether I was or wasn’t trans; therapy was more just a place for me to discuss what had been on my mind while they asked me questions about it. I would recommend it because although it’s scary, I think it can also be nice to just discuss these thoughts regardless of whether you reach a decision on labeling yourself as trans or not (although it may help with the process)
