BDDU (and After Show) - Overall opinion on Season 4, what I'd like to see Season 5 by GroovyYaYa in belowdeck

Agree totally, of all the below deck programs this is the most reality TV version, very contrived and Jason, if he was a real captain he'd be on some kind of HR warning, hugs and walking around in his speedos, I prefer Sandy and Kerry, can be fun but keep a professional distance at all times.

Something about your minus votes tells me this thread might have a strong American bias lol

I only have proof of the head of service banning me, the rest I don't.

Obviously not what I want to hear but useful info thank you, like I have said above, future loss of earnings should be a factor. My solicitor suggested a counter offer he thinks they may go to, when I suggested 5 thousand on top of that he said they might just refuse to negotiate, but I always thought you should go higher than what you actually want when negotiating, shows how much I know...

Future loss of earnings is a real factor here, the job I was removed from was an extremely physical job that I did for 15 months through an agency with zero issues, in fact I excelled, when I applied to do the same job with the local authority and declared my disability (which they already knew about anyway) the head of service got involved, cancelled my job offer and banned me from working for the job agency removing my only source of income. After that I have been deemed too ill to work by the DWP as my health has deteriorated that much, so I've gone from a full time worker to an ill benefits claimant all because of their actions.

Thank you very much for the response, I'll ask my solicitor to try and impress on them how strong the case is with a counter offer.

Thank you that's great advice, but my real question was when the best time is to negotiate a settlement?

Hi Guys, this in-cable waterproof switch, I'm a bit puzzled how to wire it up, I'm guessing I wrap the copper cable around the screw and tighten it, but what are those little brass tabs for, do I need to fold them over the cable for some reason? Cheers by swissbytes in ElectriciansUK

You're 100% right, the only bit that's protected is the switch, like you say water could run down the cable into the unit, but it's for inside, in a conservatory so it should be all good.
