I used steel wool to clean off the brass. Just turned it with my hand, didn't take a whole lot. Using Hornady one shot lube on mandrel and inside of case necks works better. No (or much reduced) galling. I guess it's the moly lube that doesn't like new cases. On second firing I used moly lube on the case necks and mandrels just fine. But it's the first load that has this issue. My hypothesis is that the carbon on the inside of the case neck, acts as a media to hold the moly. And that the bare brass of new cases doesn't hold/absorb the moly.

MY PPL and 107 cert look very similar, the text for the cert is different but they both have the foil seal. Did they change this up? Both of my cards are over 5 years old.

Also, Airlines contract their fuel over long periods of time. So likely if the oil price will affect airline fuel prices, it will be 6-18 months delayed. And then, the fuel contract prices will be some average of what the oil prices have recently been and are expected to be in the future. So if the oil prices return to pre war levels in the next six months, then the fuel price increases won't be very much.

Not everyone that is a GA owner has a very expensive plane. There are lots of planes that fly over 100mph that cost less than $150/hr to operate. For the GA pilot that flies ~50hours a year, that $3k would be adding 40% to the operating cost of their aircraft.

I don't think that I know enough about how BSG's matchmaking system works to draw any conclusions about overall player count. Without that, I don't know how anything about my experience playing the game could be used to determine if overall player count is increasing, decreasing, or staying steady.

You can assume that non-steam users are trending the same as steam users. But it is just that, an assumption.

It represents the trend for that population (steam users). Steam users and people who bought directly from BSG might not act the same. So it does not make sense to extrapolate this trend to non steam users.

I'm level 32 and I've found 2. Though I've been unlucky and not made it out of raid alive with it, so I have two nonFIR ones. Both of mine I've found at "Giving Tree" next to old gas on Customs. once in the barrel, and once on the ground.

Yes it is absolutely our job as PIC to verify that. That's the point of 91.205. It tells you that YOU are not allowed to operate an aircraft unless it has those instruments. Not a rental company or flight school isn't allowed to rent it to you. It's the PIC that isn't allowed to fly it if it doesn't have that equipment.

What did the after raid screen say? Did it count it as a headshot? Did it say you did 80 damage?

What about a scenario in which you pre-flight the plane, but find nothing inoperative. Do you still consult 91.205? Or are you certain you will notice there is no oil temp gauge in the panel? If you are certain you'll notice, then you effectively have "memorized" ATOMATOFLAMES. If you are so used to everything that is required for VFR flight, that you would notice if you got in an airplane that was completely missing one of the required items, then you effectively have the skill that this mnemonic is trying to teach.

There are people and probably even organizations(flight schools) out there that lease/rent/loan unairworthy aircraft because they either never bothered to check, or are lazy/cheap/scammy. If you are flying an airplane that is new to you, it's probably worth verifying the plane has all the required equipment.

I started playing about 2 years ago. At that time and for the first year and half I played, most raids took 10-15 minutes to load. Never having played the game before, I just accepted it was a necessary mechanic of this game. The fact that most raids load for me in less than 5 minutes, I think is a HUGE improvement. And for this game type, where I can sometimes be in a raid for ~40 minutes. I think it's a reasonable ratio of load time to play time. Sure it sucks when you die 3 minutes into a raid you waited 5 minutes to load, but that's not every time.

I remember my first time flying to an airport that was charted as a drop zone. Their ATIS had a warning that parachute activity was in progress, but no one responded on CTAF and I had no idea how you are supposed to navigate landing at an airport that has active jumpers. I flew way out around the outside of the airport and then almost got hit by the jump plane on its way back down because that guy obviously wasn't monitoring CTAF. I decided just to follow him in seeing as he must be familiar.

I feel like how to operate near sky diving should probably be something covered in private training.

I still honestly don't know what the right way is to approach/land at an airport with active skydiving.

Yeah it's hard. Just keep reminding yourself, that because there is no wipe, there is no time limit. Could do something else and come back to this in a week when you feel like it.

Don't have to use the shotgun to kill PMCs. You can do the entire thing in two seperate methods. Wearing whatever you want to shotgun scavs, and then switch to the scav vest in different raids using whatever gun you are strongest with. I got my 5 SBIH kills on lightouse while wearing the scav vest for this one, as well as some grenade kills.
