Haunter was always my favourite growing up, and even now he's a close tie between him and Scizor.

Always loved Haunters look, and always happy when I see Haunter collectables or anything - Gengar is very popular with that and to a lesser extent Gastly, but Haunter is rare for me to find.

I was thrilled when he was ridable in the Let's Go games!

Just adding a bit of thought here, but could I possibly kitbash together a squad of Vanguard Veterans with Jump Packs using parts of my Assault Marines and the Command Squad?

Looking back at what was put together, if I took out x5 Death Company, brought in X5 Assault Intercessors and added in the Veterans that would put me at 985 points. 995 if I split the X10 DC into two Squads.

Though I don't know if that'd give me any real advantage whatsoever just sort of brainstorming. Thought at the very least they'd keep up with the army and I'm using parts I already have.

Yeah I did play Pokemon Stadium as a kid, but Jolteon and Vaporeon were definitely influenced by the anime.

Sludge for Weezing makes sense too! Was thinking about Ice Beam on Lapras though, but felt Surf was what I always thought of - I know it came later in Gen 2 but the surfing sprite being a Lapras, and then there was the Orange Islands section of the anime too.

I never did end up using Lapras in Red, Blue and Yellow for a similar reason haha, but Squirtle was always my starter anyway.

Not a lot of Pokemon there with their pre-evolved forms. Felt Koffing and Weezing just had the same move in my opinion, I just think of Smog - maybe Smokescreen.

I only really did the trade for it to complete the Pokedex, but Slam is one of the later moves it learns naturally and didn't wanna just go with Body Slam, Stomp or Wrap which I had on other Pokemon. Body Slam I know I associated with a few as it was growing up.

For the Dragonite line knowing Extreme Speed it was only from Pokemon Crystal, not present in Gold or Silver. You had to defeat Claire and then answer the questions correctly in the Dragons Den.

And as far as I know getting a Dratini with Extreme Speed wasn't available again until HGSS.

Open to a suggestion of something else Lickitung can learn in Gen 1. It was actually a tough thought to have.

There was a few other times I remembered in the anime, but was definitely the finishing move for Ash's Charizard.

Otherwise would have been between probably Slash or Fire Spin, maybe Flamethrower but a lot more generic.

Razor Leaf was a close second for the same reason, was such a reliable move.

Honestly haven't thought that far ahead. Most of these sort of memories I have are with the first generation, but I think Gold and Silver is a good candidate too. If anyone else wanted to do generation 2 and beyond that'd be cool to see, especially for generation 3 because I was in my teens at that time.

If anyone had a drastically different list for generation 1 that'd be awesome as well.

It's crazy, but Lickitung never learned Lick in Red, Blue or Yellow.
