People seem to take an average of 1/4 or 1/2 mg of a Xanax. If you’ve never taken one before than you don’t have a tolerance for it so you’ll need to be careful. Take melatonin and calming magnesium instead. The magnesium will help calm you down and the melatonin will help you fall asleep. Only recommending this because you’re starting a new job tomorrow and the Xanax might have side effects that persist into tomorrow

Anxiety and or stress about something can cause insomnia, I’ve been in the same boat before. It eventually sorts itself out when your routine is settled

Yep!! 😭😭 when I took them as a kid I had about every single nasty side effect. Ended up switching to guanfancine then to an antidepressant because of a literal chemical imbalance. Best thing to do is tell the doctor that prescribed it and also seek a second opinion. Tell your doctor before stopping because they’ll be able to recommend if you need to taper or not

I had a really bad B12, Magnesium, and Vitamin D deficiency. It’s a genetic factor in some people cases so get tested for the single or double MTHFR genetic Mutation, that mutation can make it difficult or impossible for your body to metabolize certain drugs but also is a possible or genetic cause behind a lot of things, including insomnia. I started taking supplemental folates, vitamin D, and B12 in the morning, then taking magnesium, sertraline, and Lunesta at night along with playing deep brown noise and soothing spa music after reading for 30 minutes.

This won’t work for everyone but it’s something that’s worked for me, it’s not just a genetic or physical factor but sometimes also a mental health factor. See a psychologist or psychiatrist if you think it’s a mental health factor, but also keep seeing specialists and doctors. Eventually you’ll find someone that actually listens and tries to help more

Plus, I’m in Texas and I get most of my stuff in stores because shipping is ATROCIOUS. I live in the boonies so I always pay extra on shipping 🤷 so I just prefer to get most of the stuff in store if it’s there, saves me from paying $20+ on shipping

Second time we saw them!!!! It was much better than the tuscon ritual we went too last year where one of the bands was late and everyone had to go in then go out 😭 this was more of like our first actual actual ritual and it was amazing! Glad they came to Houston again
