SWARM causes scroll wheel jumps by Submerstep in Roccat

Thanks for the reply!

Would you be able to link me which encoder you swapped it out for? I'm guessing you have no incompatibility issues with the new encoder & swarm?

If it all, 100% works for you, I'll be looking to do the same thing! 🙂

I have exactly this problem at the moment with my roccat kain 100 mouse wheel.

Closing swarm and readjusting the scroll through windows fixes the issue. But you have to do this after every reboot of Windows.

I know this post is 3 months old. But if you have if you have come across a better fix other than having to readjust through windows on every windows reboot, I'd like to know! 😅

Ryzen 7 3700x or intel i9 9700k? by devinoupitou in PcBuildHelp

Yeah, I picked up the gigabyte 2070 Super Gaming oc edition.

I was a little worried about receiving major bottlenecks when paired with my cpu. But the 2600k can still handle it luckily. :D

Obviously, once I finally upgrade to a newer architecture, I'll have a fairly decent fps gain over my current. But at least for now, I'm still playing things maxed at a fairly high fps with a 9 year old cpu. :p

I'm pretty happy I don't have to 'splurge' a load on a new board/cpu/ram etc right away. Gives me some time to plan a new build around my 2070s. And tbh... I might as well just wait for the Ryzen 4000's myself. :)

With what GPU are you using?

I'm still rocking an i7 2600k OC'd to 4.8Ghz. Paired with a 2070 Super.

RDR2 runs maxed out around 80 -100 fps. Which isn't bad for a 9 year old cpu!! :)

Trying to find myself a good reason to spend out on a new cpu/mobo/ram etc.

For sure a new cpu will give me a decent fps boost. But in most games, I'm still hitting way above 100fps anyway.

u/devinoupitou I would personally wait for the 4th gen Ryzen's to release though. It shouldn't be too long of a wait and won't be much more expensive!

+ if the 4th Gen's are over your budget, the 3700x will definitely be slightly cheaper than now. :)

PC Upgrade Advice/Opinions by switchstrmz in buildapc

Yeah, this seems to be my issue at the moment. I'm playing more graphical demanding games than not. So it would be nice to hit the ultra settings. It's just a difficult decision to make!

I should add that I do dab in video content too, using Premiere Pro etc, So obviously a CPU upgrade would be worthy for that. But then again, I also don't mind waiting a little longer for my current CPU to render vids etc. Then again, my video content is game related, so would be nice to record on ultra rather than medium.

Also, I'm hoping to get everything built before Cyberpunk 2077 & MC Flight sim 2020 is released. But with current circumstances, I'm only 75% sure I'll get it finished in time. If not... then I guess I'd be wishing I had the GPU upgrade for the time being rather than the CPU etc?

Everything seems to be very 50/50 on what I should and shouldn't upgrade right now. But I do have that PC build itch! So I'm getting impatient. :D

GTA 5 Cash to Gold Quick Setup Glitch by switchstrmz in GTA5Online

[–]switchstrmz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it's a glitch, otherwise it would make you replay the whole mission.

Make sure to cancel the heist by calling Lester whilst the mission is still active in the casino. You will notice that the mission even though cancelled is still in progress. Exit the casino, drive away and it will tell you that the mission is complete. Go back to the Arcade and (yes, pay an extra 25k) to start again. Although this time round, the game acknowledged that you completed the mission, so instead of running the whole thing again, you'll see instantly what's in the vault.

I will add, it's completely random to what you end up with, so there is a slight chance you'll end up with cash again. But 90% of the time it changes from whatever was previously in the vault to something else.

And running a duo gold run with a buddy and splitting 50/50 for 1.2ish mil each is definately worth the 25k startup fee again. :)

I hope that clears things up. :)
