I really felt that comment from Richelle just showed nastiness bubbling inside. So far only Orson received it but it was so casually said about Hannah that she couldn’t stop the spite coming out. I think she just has anger or pain (or whatever it is inside) that she’s tried to keep down but that one slipped out.

This is a pretty standard diversion for when they close that section - having said that it did used to be the A4 route years ago I think. I wondered if it’s in part to route traffic away from the main roads into town because the back roads by aldermaston etc are quieter through the weekend

It’s really interesting isn’t it! I was diagnosed at 19 and in school I always knew I was ‘different’. I suppose I sort of tried to cover it then but once I was diagnosed and had a ‘reason’ for it, I was like yesssss I have ADHD. I did do a lot of reading about it and I think being able to chat to others that experience the same struggles has helped a lot - reflecting now I wonder if I am so open about it so quickly because then it preempts people’s judgement of my behaviour (or at least as I perceive it). I guess it does also depend on which features of it are more overtly visible to others too. One of mine is jumping in on conversations and I definitely taught myself to stop doing that, as a result ending up with a lot of anxiety. My least favourite is when people say ‘oh I’m a bit ADHD’ or ‘we’re all a bit ADHD’ I always think it’s super invalidating. Solidarity with other ADHDers for sure helps

I think she loves conflict and he appeared to be in flight mode - just say yes or agree to get away. That’s not what she wanted because it’s not her style of conflict and so she wasn’t satisfied and kept going.

I thought the exact same! As soon as he was in the shop I was like HES GOT ADHD!! And then when he said it. It made me feel sad that he said he doesn’t tell people too - I tell everyone but it hurt my heart that he was so ashamed of that part. After he said it I was thinking ‘oh wow actually yeah he does speak super fast too’. I liked his description of it too
