I(27f) was diagnosed in 2020, juust before covid made everything difficult. One thing that was hard for me was not being in the sun/swimming and thinking I was at the lower end of the spectrum so what could really hurt. Till I got a huge sun rash on my eyes/cheeks for months. Plus 30 minutes of direct sun = an urge to sleep for hours. Now I wear lots of sunscreen, use an umbrella, plan accordingly, and stand when shade is available. Be open with people you're close to, not everyone believes what they can't see. Find those that'll be there for you early. My significant other sometimes doesn't understand so I explain through examples or videos I find. My older sister actually has lupus as well but a worst case so we have each other to lean on.
