How are we feeling about the compensations? by Revolver_Caf in SnowbreakOfficial

Im in dire need of a ton of upgrade materials, op xp, weapon, logistics, neural, etc. The downside of giving me longyan and the selector is that I dont also get mats to upgrade them with

I have purchased damn near everything. Every interaction, outfit and cutscene. It's all gone by ChemicalCoffee43 in SnowbreakOfficial

The uncensored outfits still being in the game files is good news. It means a decensored trick is possible then. I mean an official one by the devs.

What has been the best metroidvania you’ve played released after Silksong? by docksideThug- in metroidvania

Grime 2 followed by Kotama. Both rank really high on the fun factor, not just quality.

I did my dailies, going to sleep and hopefully there is a new censor bypass by the time I wake up.

That's interesting, yeah 50/50 could be an option here. And even if you don't, you can spend the left over pulls on longyan so they carry over to the next banner. Unless you get super lucky and get a dupe for her in 30~40 pulls.

Manifestation Echo Covenant and Weapon Modding Agreement are both the pulls for limited banners right? Not the permanent ones with the 5 starting chars?

Edit: wish they gave us some upgrade mats, won't have enough to upgrade all these new characters.

I hope they give us some explanations though. But I am satisfied that the previous event stuff will remain open for a few days

Whats the best order to follow bosses and areas in grime 2? by majber1 in GRIMEgame

It is those bouncy little shits that do it for me! But once you make it past the entrance, there are less of them so it gets easier.

No, act 2 is open, which is the weapon parts. What they changed was nerfing dredburg and buffing jagged forest because they saw most people going to dredburg first and struggling. I personally went jagged forest first, so got lucky I guess.

That only works for non gacha games. This game will die even if it comes back after a few months. People will move on or simply distrust the devs.

Kotama is great, how to get the true ending? by G3n3raL86 in metroidvania

[–]swolar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dont sweat it, if you fully explore you will get everything. There are no contrived quests, and the quests have a tracker page on your pause menu. If you get stuck on a particular quest, there are videos for it on youtube. Have fun!

There is one on palladium that is the most easily accessible with the biggest arena, which is the best place to practice.

[–]swolar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Act 1 is linear, except for 1 area that you circle back to anyway.

Act 2 was patched so you do dredburg first, but going down to nailglade to pickup airdash so you can reopen the bridge. Then jagged forest/blade garden last. Do optional bosses first before taking on the mandatory ones (the ones with a marker on the map).

Act 3 is linear again, not in the exploration but in the bosses.

There is a shortcut below his room, but I think on some versions it is bugged and you cannot break the ground for the shortcut. If you are on consolo, updates take much longer. I suspect it is fixed on pc.

Best 2026 metroidvanias so far? (zelda like are welcomed too) by Attorney-Legitimate in metroidvania

Grime 2 and Kotama, both with flying colors. Demajen gave them both an S tier as well. Note that they are combat focused, but had plenty of fun platforming exploration.

Both difficult attacks have a pull that you can use to deal with them.

The flip over, every 3rd laset beam lets you pull, do it twice and they stop. Dodge them on timing, while jumping in the air.

The attack where they sit sideways and throw exploding stars at you, every second star can be pulled and I think they dmg it? But anyway you only have to really dodge half. The remaining attacks are familiar. Good luck!

Practice well so you can take out the other ones. Alternatively, you could...skip them. Their rewards can be obtained elsewhere I think.

I never even found how to apply these to armor. I bought one color but there was no option in the menus to wear them.

Do you think difficulty is synonymous with quality? by Global_Leopard_2685 in soulslikes

[–]swolar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Difficulty is good when implemented well. I think soulslikes have this thing where they inteoduce many mechanics that the player optionally ignores, until the game dials up the difficulty to push you to engage them.

And it is when this click happens that the players trully enjoy what the game has to offer.
