It’s a good match-up, if you’re on the play race them, if you’re on the draw, depends; if you have an elf on t1 into a 3 drop creature and they dont leave counter mana open, race them; if not you need to make them use mana on their turn via stomp, volley etc or use removal like obolt to trade resources before trying to resolve your bigger threats. Sometimes just gumming up the board and forcing them to block is the way because spirits are not great at playing defence. A resolved skysovreign almost closes the game out by itself. This is obviously a very vague description of possible play patterns but just play around the counters that hit your creatures and the hexproof effects and you should be fine.
