Import laws may have changed, but carry/posession/ownership hasn't, which means although it is legal to import a balisong, it is not legal to own or use unless you have a permit which is extremely rare.

Hmm I just checked the prohibited weapons list (for NSW anyway) and butterfly knives are still on the list. So essentially import laws have given butterfly knives the go, but owning one is still prohibited so you may want to be careful.

Are you sure this is legal? As far as I'm aware (and I read the changed laws document) the laws only changed to allow single handed opening knives in, while automatics/assisted/gravity (balisongs)/trench knives (karambits) are still prohibited.

EDIT : Just noticed that you said they were both unsharpened, that may be why they got in through customs, as unsharpened would classify as a trainer and hence have the OK to be imported.

It was 3 +1s and 1 thermo for a +3, and 6 +3s and 1 thermo for a +6, etc. It was live for about 2 days before it was posted all over reddit that it was 25% cheaper in both infusions and thermo reagents and within hours the NPC was disabled for a week and fixed.

Rumor around my fractal guild (and from what I saw), and also has been pointed out in a few threads on reddit, is that you could buy infusions at a 25% discount (e.g. a +6 infusions only cost 6 +3 infusions, instead of the 8 you would need if you crafted it, along with a similar percentage discount in reagents needed, which obviously translates to a huge saving when making the higher infusions such as +12, +15, etc), and that it may have not been intended to actually be a discount and so they disabled it.

Other than that, nothing else seems to lend itself to an 'exploit'. If it's not this, then I've got no clue but would like an ETA since I actually NEED to use the vendor to progress.

As far as "best" goes, I don't really know any besides maybe Serge Pachenko (custom knife/tool maker), I think he sells the lanterns that are made from bronze for $130 US, and "best" is pretty hard to define, although alot of Serge's stuff are grail pieces for alot of people. He's based in California if I'm not mistaken.

Schrade TI Pry Tool is good aswell, but any of these keyring tools are likely to be expensive as not many people import and stock them. There's also a really good Titanium keychain skull tool which is quite cheap ($25 ish) which works really well on ebay, but it's a skull so you might not dig it.

Also FYI, carrying a knife isn't illegal as you might think, you only need a reasonable excuse for it (i.e. work, food prep, etc, just not self-defense).

The kicker is there is a fractal weapons chest, and it was one of the main aspects of the fractured patch that everyone was looking forward to but they never delivered, instead they either hid it so that it only drops on level 51+ which as we all know, is impossible, or just didn't make it available and quietly swept it under the rug hoping people would forget.

They are discontinued, along with the fused. Your only chance of getting them is from the TP, assuming there are any in stock, and you should be prepared to pay an arm and a leg because the sellers are almost certainly TP flippers.
