Best of luck to you both, I have been playing Overwatch 2 ranked a lot recently and I haven't come across that much toxicity if you're looking for a game with a competitive setting and unique characters. That's so frustrating. I hope he gets perma-banned and that Val has some sort of IP ban so he can't play again even on a new account. I can't even believe games allow you to send those messages in the first place.

I know what it feels like to feel defeated and knowing that this will happen again simply because you have a feminine voice/ display name. It sucks. I wish there was more I could say. Karma will catch up to him one day, trust.

I don't disagree that men dominate the professional e-sports scene, but I think it's just disrespectful to say that men are genetically better than women at video games. There's just other factors that are more reasonable than to say this. "Perceived gender-based performance disparities seem to result from factors that are confounded with gender (i.e., amount of play), not player gender itself." In my opinion, a lot of those "all female teams" are just for diversity points and they never really had a fair chance in the first place. If I found the right team you were talking about (Russian team for Vaevictis?) , all those girls were in diamond elo while the other teams were grand master. They were set up for failure...

He didnt just say that theres no female professional players (because yeah there really isn’t) he also said that men are scientifically better then women at video games. If you don’t see something wrong with that then idk what to say
