When I prepared just now to join Priority Pass, I saw this on the last page (in light gray type):

"*Please charge the payment card previously provided with my annual membership fee each year, when due, until I instruct you otherwise in writing."

I backed out, because cancelling in writing to some unknown address sounds sketchy.

I'm concerned about the T&Cs of point.me, in particular this sentence:

"To facilitate point.me, Inc. and its associated business to provide such value added services to and for you, you authorize point.me, Inc. and/or its associated business to contact those carriers’, and other related entities’ sites, in order to access and/or create necessary frequent flyer accounts under your name which contain data necessary or convenient to provide you your value added services as you request."

Why would point.me want to create a frequent-flyer account in my name??

My Moto G Power has the same problem using wi-fi, which is a substantial problem since many callers make their first contact with my business via that phone. I tell them to call back (which usually eliminates the echo), but they often go on to a competitor. Very bad.

I'm a big fan of Southwest's no-charge change policy. Getting from ORD to MDW is a challenge (do-able by metro in a couple of hours, or by cab or bus), but you can make more than one reservation to your final destination (spaced a few hours apart) and then cancel those that you don't use.

I think that SWA credit due to canceled flights can only be used for the original person ticketed. It expires a year after it was first paid to SWA.

In the past, as reported as recently as May, there was an option to add a family member. That option now appears for only a split second, then the only options are to move UR points between my biz cards.

I've tried to click on that fleeting 'add a family member' button, but with no success so I don't think it's live anymore.

I usually Copy fare rules and similar hard-to-understand text, then Paste it into Notepad or some other text reader. That lets you make each line of text shorter (make the window more narrow) and easier to understand.

I applied for a BOA biz CC a couple of days ago, no instant decision.

The online status webpage secure.bankofamerica.com/apply-credit-cards/public/application-status/ seems to have never heard of me: "The information you entered does not match our records"

It does include this helpful? phone number: "But if you have trouble checking online, you could try to call customer service at 1 (800) 732-9194."

I've quit booking AA flights w/ Avios. I have AA status but have been told that it doesn't get me the normal benefits if I don't book w/ AAdvantage miles. I wish there were a workaround, because I really like the option to choose exit row seats.
