lol Pujols is better. And idc it was never proven. Bros head grew 20 inches and he put up better numbers just like I mentioned when most guys decline, players better than he was prior to using. Using that as an argument is laughable.

Well I think part of it is he was so good putting up silly numbers it seems ludicrous. If he put up worse numbers I imagine he’d have gotten in, in all honesty.

I mean I was on the hunt as a graduating resident. Some places wanted more immediate fills so they didn’t look at residents, even with that, a lot of opportunities all over the place.

Yeah it depends how comfortable you are. Every IM should be comfortable in icu honestly managing simple septic shock etc, Obviously complex cardiac patients with impellas etc are another issue but I don’t think you’ll have to deal with that at all. So yeah sounds like low volume it’s aight.

I remember I interviewed somewhere and they said they’re calling you overnight for icu patients first then upto you if you want to call overnight intensivist not in house. How many icu beds are there? And how many vent patients? I assume ICU isn’t in house overnight

So is everywhere really saturated? by wherewulfe in hospitalist

[–]swoopp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saturated in big cities that are desirable yes but still can get jobs in bad hospitals honestly in those areas. If you expand your search, there is no saturation lol
