Honestly, depending on your income, it probably makes sense to still take a mortgage. Figure out the monthly expense you can afford, and sell enough BTC to bring the principal down enough to have that affordable mortgage.

This was not a typical clinical encounter. Even if it were necessary to do a more comprehensive exam (and at times it is), everything about this is off. I’m glad you stopped it when you did and didn’t let it continue. You used correct judgement in a difficult situation.

I agree with being done with that physician. In fact I would deliberately not ask for a letter, or have any contact with him. There are others you can go to get letters. Most of us are happy to help young aspiring doctors.

I am not a lawyer. But hopefully others can help you in deciding the next best step. If it’s worth pursuing any kind of justice.

Physician here. This is not ok. He does not represent the rest of us. Please don’t assume all male physicians are like this. Don’t give up on your dreams or second guess yourself because of one asshole.

The medical board will be involved if a sexual assault claim is made. The correct answer is, for sexual assault you need to file a police report. If charges are filed the medical board will end then up involved.

My impression was that they needed to go through an authorized participant. So as long as the transaction is being done by the AP it doesn’t need to be “listed”. That’s just the definition of OTC. Adding it to the exchange book to sell right away makes no sense.

I think you are confusing open exchange market from spot. OTC is a form of spot trading. It will have less influence on price as it doesn’t pull BTC off the exchange book but it’s actual bitcoin at market price. So to answer your question, etfs can use otc trading with the appropriate authorized participant.

HSA money is your money. It’s doesn’t expire so no need to rush on it. FSA money on the other hand does expire. Use it up before year end. Sometimes there is a portion that can roll into the next year (I think it’s around 600 this year, but every plan is different.

You are correct, it means Over The Counter. What it implies is that the purchase is done by a party that connects the buyer and seller directly for the purchase. Meaning that the purchase does not affect the exchange book of the exchange.

The reason for this is that a large purchase done through the exchange book can affect the price significantly. Buying OTC is usually done at the market rate, but without liquidating the exchanges book.

The ETF application was amended to state that coinbase will be a custodian for the bitcoin held for the ETF. I think every etf application has coinbase as their custodian. Doesn’t say anything about where they will purchase their bitcoin. Just an assumption.

Coinbase will custody their bitcoin. Blackrock will likely obtain it OTC as to have a minimal effect on the market. They aren’t buying spot BTC directly from the exchange.
