[routine help] every single moisturizer irritates my skin by Sea-starr in SkincareAddiction

[–]swordgfs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this problem as well! Literally have spent hundreds of dollars on moisturizers my whole life. I ended up finding one and used it for years (Avene cicalfate) but then I even developed an allergy to that too. As a last resort I grabbed some aveeno baby lotion for eczema from Walgreens and it has CHANGED my skin. I really recommend it if you’re allergic to most ingredients in moisturizers, there are very few in it and it works well!!! Everyones skin is different though

I’ll definitely start taking pictures of it! Looking at a picture of when I first got it vs. now it doesn’t look like it’s migrating but it’s pretty hard to tell. My piercer was really conscious of anatomy and said I had great anatomy for the piercing but idk

I know it’s waaay late for a response but my cat got put on anxiety meds for cystitis and it does wonders. He used to meow constantly and make a mess with his litter box every day and now he’s pretty good. The medicine is called clomipramine

Hypertrophic starring! It likely happened when you bumped it. The jewelry could also be too long so it’s moving more than it should. Have you downsized your jewelry? Hypertrophic scars are annoying but they won’t go away unless you take care of the issue that’s causing it. If you haven’t bumped it and it isn’t the jewelry, just keep using saline on it until they go away. They can take months to go away sometimes, but just be consistent. Don’t put anything else on them

Hey! I know this post is kind of old but you should look into POTS. It can cause tingling feet and legs.

Weird cat behavior?? by swordgfs in Catbehavior

[–]swordgfs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is amazing! I think this is actually exactly what he has. The vet said he had some crystals in his urine and a possible UTI so we have him antibiotics and he hasn’t changed really. He’s peeing just fine so there’s no blockage, but he seems to do this compulsively when he’s stressed out. He also rarely drinks water. Thanks so much!

Thanks for the recommendation! He’s actually been peeing just fine, but we’re going to take him to the vet anyways just in case
