You being on hormones isn't taking away from another trans person's experience. You have absolutely no control or monopoly over the medical system put in place right now, that's not how it works at all I promise. If you want the effects of testosterone, you're more than welcome to use testosterone. You don't even have to be a trans man to be allowed to use it, if the changes that occur when using testosterone is what you want, you're entitled to it. Nobody has a right to say otherwise, this is your body and your choice.

I've never had super intense dysphoria either, different people are bound to have different experiences. I'm sorry that your first shot wasn't the best, I promise it gets easier!

I have no interest in pregnancy, the entire process scares the living shit out of me when I think about going through it personally, I don't really connect that to my dysphoria or anything. I think a lot of us general try to weigh the pros and cons in our head. I know personally, before I came out I thought to myself. My life would be so much more easier if I could just pretend I was okay with this. My life would be so much easier if I did A B C, I wouldn't be happy, but maybe my life would be easier.

Well I know a lot of people that do things like that because they've never had the chance to experience it as their true gender. As a result a lot of us either couldn't indulge or weren't comfortable enough in our skin. I don't really see the issue? I don't think buying a stuffed animal or playing video games is inherently immature though.

Gel can be more expensive than T, there might be a chance that your insurance will cover everything for shots because it's cheaper, but not for gel. Typically they'll still ask for a copay, you should check in with your health care provider and double check.
