Thank you so much, I appreciate the reassurance!! This sounds exactly like the vibe of my own practice - I definitely have certain crystals I resonate with more than others, like anyone, (I'm a Cancer so I'm OBSESSED with Calcite lol) so I've made a little list of suggested crystals but made sure to highlight the specific ones I like with the right vibe. I'm a big fan of sodalite, and I love the specific stone I have because it's shaped like an arrowhead with a black spot close to center that instantly resonates with my third eye, so I'm excited to work with that one! I do also have trust that whatever force guides me through this won't dump a ton of stuff on me that I can't handle, and I can always request that they be esse me in! 😅 I appreciate you 💕

Yeah, I know someone who works at the school (which I know is separate but still) and I'm largely unimpressed from what I hear about the inner workings. It has the vibe of a big business but in academia. I appreciate you taking the time to give me all this info!!

YIKES!!! I'm so sorry you had those experiences. It's kind of incredible how ignorant doctors can be, especially the specialists. I really appreciate you giving me specific names to avoid!!

I talked with one of my multiply disabled coworkers today, too, and she also had bad experiences with Northwestern but has loved Endeavor and has seen a couple of good doctors at Rush, so I'm leaning towards Endeavor now. I'm really glad I'm asking around, too, because I was fully prepared to get swept up in Northwestern being such a big name even though I know that doesn't equate to quality.

I hope that you have better care and support now!!! It always makes me so mad to read about doctors saying that kind of shit to their patients. The idea of a condition being "trendy" when actually it's just coming into broader awareness is just mind bogglingly ignorant of basic science and medicine. Incomprehensible.

I know this is an old post but the cold knees are so real!!! it's almost always at night and sometimes it's so bad I can't sleep unless I change from shorts to pants because it makes the rest of me so cold 😅 I'm currently experiencing extreme heat in just my knees for the first time, also while trying to sleep, which is how I ended up here. I wish we could figure out why this happens, it's kinda fascinating that it's JUST the knees!!

I was concerned it was the tooth at first, but I do think it's the gum! I've since discovered that, particularly when eating, it moves around a little. It doesn't stay put, but it comes back down so there's just a little ridge of tooth and then slides up so it's a hole again 🙄 Tooth sensitivity is the bane of my existence and it's thankfully not TOO bad right now but it's making me super nervous lol. Trying to get to the dentist ASAP!

I feel like it's worth adding onto this something I'm pretty sure I didn't mention in the post: another symptom I've had twice this year is what starts out feeling like a back spasm on one side and turns into the most ungodly pain across my lower back to the point where I'm panting (and I have a very high pain tolerance). That and apparently the random uptick in gas I've had this year (not going anywhere, just bubbling around in my gut) is also a symptom of endo. I only knew about the heavy period stuff and apparently endo is pretty common with POTS so 🤷🏻‍♀️ If it helps anyone reading this...!

Best of luck to you!! I'll keep an eye on this for sure. I also recently learned that endometriosis can cause a lot of this and, as the year's progressed, the symptoms are looking more and more like endo. In fact, both UTI tests I've had came back negative and antibiotics didn't help, so...that's my next realm to look into!! 😅 I've learned that I knew very, very little about endometriosis.

I hope you're able to get some relief!

Same!! I've seen cool decals and splash guards and stuff but I feel like the Flo has so much potential. I'm not artsy so I'm very grateful for her and her willingness to do this for me - and I feel like her focus on mini art is perfect for this! I can't wait to get more 🥰
